ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ,17,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಟುಡೇ 2024-25 ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹತ್ತು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.
ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಇದು ಶ್ರುತಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಮೊಸಿನ್, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಡಾ. ಬಿ.ಎಲ್. ಸುಜಾತಾ ರಾಠೋಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಎಂಸಿಆರ್‌ಐನ ಡೀನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ರಾಮೇಶ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಇದು ಬಿಎಂಸಿಆರ್ ಐಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಮನ್ನಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

BMCRI Ranked Karnataka’s Second-Best Medical College

Bengaluru, July 15: Karnataka, a frontrunner in providing medical education in the country is home to several top medical colleges. This has been reaffirmed by a survey conducted by some of the country’s most reputed institutions.
In a survey conducted by India Today, one of India’s leading media organizations, for the academic year 2024–25, a list of Karnataka’s top ten medical colleges was released.
In this list, the medical education department-run Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) has secured the second position.
Sharing this information, principal secretary of the department of medical education, Mohammad Mohsin, director of medical education Dr BL Sujatha Rathod and dean & director of BMCRI Dr Ramesh Krishna stated that this recognition is a significant accolade for BMCRI.
The survey was conducted based on the quality of education, availability of modern amenities, and state-of-the-art infrastructure in the medical colleges. In this context, BMCRI being ranked among the nation’s most prestigious institutions is a matter of pride for the state.
