ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,1,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸೊರಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೃದಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಸಚಿವ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
‘ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮ’ ವನ್ನು ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಎಸ್. ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಖರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಲ್ಲದೇ ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮವನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ನವರ ಚಿಂತನೆ, ಅಭಿರುಚಿ, ಜನಸಮೂಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರಿಗಿದ್ದ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ.
ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಜಿ. ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್, ಕಾನೂನು, ಸಂಸತ್ತೀಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಸಚಿವ ಎಚ್. ಕೆ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಹೊರಟ್ಟಿ, ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಸಿ. ಸುಧಾಕರ್; ಸಣ್ಣ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್. ಬೋಸರಾಜು, ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಅರವಿಂದ ಲಿಂಬಾವಳಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಶಾಸಕರು, ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ‘ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮ’ ಕುರಿತು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ‘ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮ’ ಅನೇಕ ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಂಗಾರ ಧಾಮವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಾರೇಕೊಪ್ಪ ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಶಕುಂತಲಮ್ಮ ಅವರ ಪುಣ್ಯಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಮನದಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಸೊರಬದ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಧಾಮವು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಧಾಮವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಕಾಲು ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಧಾಮವು 100×100 ಅಡಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸದ ಪುಣ್ಯಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಗ್ರಾನೈಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಬಲ್ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳು ಇದರ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿವೆ. ಧ್ಯಾನಮಂದಿರ, ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು, ಶೌಚಾಲಯ, ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಪಾಥ್, ಹೂವಿನ ತೋಟ, ಅಲಂಕಾರಿಕ ಗಿಡಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯ.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, 1,500 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಆಸನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಬಯಲು ರಂಗಮಂದಿರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೆಲಿಫ್ಯಾನ್ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸುಂದರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಸಂಪಿಗೆ ಮರ, ಕಲ್ಪವೃಕ್ಷ, ಈಚಲು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಸಸ್ಯಸಂಪತ್ತಿ, 56 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಕ್ಲಾಕ್ ಟವರ್, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಸಂಗೀತ ಬಂಗಾರಧಾಮದ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.

‘Bangara Dhama’ Declared A Historic Tourist Destination

Soraba: The Karnataka government has declared ‘Bangara Dhama’, located in the heart of Soraba town in Shivamogga district, as a historic tourist destination. On this occasion, School Education and Literacy Minister and Shivamogga District In-charge Minister, Shri Madhu Bangarappa, expressed his gratitude to the state government.
Bangara Dhama is managed by the S. Bangarappa Foundation, headed by Shri Madhu Bangarappa. Several leaders, including Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara; Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, Shri H. K. Patil; Chairman of the Legislative Council, Shri Basavaraj Horatti; Higher Education Minister, Dr. M. C. Sudhakar; Minor Irrigation Minister, Shri N. S. Boseraju; former minister, Shri Aravind Limbavali; along with several legislators, ministers, and senior leaders, have visited the site and spoken highly of Bangaradhama.
What makes Bangara Dhama unique is that it has been built entirely at the personal expense of Shri Madhu Bangarappa, reflecting the vision, taste and deep bond that Shri Bangarappa had with the people.
Bangara Dhama is the memorial of Karnataka’s veteran leader and former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa and Shakuntalamma. Situated at the center of Soraba town, the site has emerged as a unique spiritual landmark in the country.
Spread across nearly one and a quarter-acre, the Bangara Dhama features a specially designed 100×100 ft punyasthala adorned with granite and marble carvings that enhance its grandeur.
Facilities such as a meditation hall, drinking water, restrooms, walking paths, flower gardens and ornamental plants adorn the site.
The premises also house a modern open-air theatre with seating for 1,500 people, suitable for cultural and musical programs. The addition of a heli-fan has further beautified the environment.
Distinctive features include various flower plants and trees, a 56-foot clock tower, decorative lighting, and melodious music, all of which add to the charm of Bangara Dhama.
