Mysuru, September 6, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Congress candidate Rajani Annaiah won the Mysore City Corporation Ward No. 36 by-election.
The result of the by-election held for MCC Ward No. 36 was announced today. Rajani Annaiah was announced as the winner. She secured 4,113 votes against JDS candidate Leelavathi, who got 2116 votes, and BJP candidate Shobha was able to garner only 601 votes.
The by-election for Ward No. 36 was held following the dismissal of former Mayor Rukmini Madegowda’s membership.
