No control over movement of vehicles in Mysuru: Police seize 300 vehicles

Mysuru, Apr. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Hundreds of vehicles were on roads in Mysuru today despite Janata Curfew is imposed. As a result, the police seized nearly 300 vehicles.
The government has permitted services of essential commodities from 6.00 am to 10.00 am and has instructed that everything should be closed after that. But many people in Mysuru city were found to be roaming around in vehicles producing ID cards, prescription slips, etc. Many of them were found to be giving useless excuses.

Speaking to the media persons Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta informed that permission is given for vehicles in case of emergency. But many people are coming out unnecessarily and hence we have seized the vehicles. We have given instructions to the people not to come out of the houses without proper reason. We are taking legal action against those who come out unnecessarily. The curfew has been successful in almost all areas. We have now closed the main junction. Only emergency services will be allowed, he added.
