ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜು.10: ಮೈಸೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 45ರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಶಾರದಾದೇವಿನಗರದ 2ನೇ ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆಯ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ನರ್ ಸೈಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೋರಿ ಜೈ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಸುಜಿತ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಕ್ಕು ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ (RTI) ಅಡಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಮುಖಂಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಐ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್‌ ಸುಜಿತ್‌ ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ರಘು ಎಂಬಾತ ಈ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರು ಸಹ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್‌ ಸುಜಿತ್‌ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ರಘು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್‌ ಅವರ ಮೂಗಿನ ಮೂಳೆ ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ರಘು ಪ್ರತಿದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್‌ ಸುಜಿತ್‌ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಪುರಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಘಟನೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ:

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಮುಖಂಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಐ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್‌ ಸುಜಿತ್‌,  ಶಾರದಾ ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಎದುರು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮರ್ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ನರ್ ಸೈಟ್ ಯಾವ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಐ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೋರಿದ್ದರು.

ಜತೆಗೆ ಆ ಸೈಟ್‌ಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅನುಮೋದಿತ ಲೇಔಟ್ ಪ್ಲಾನ್, ಸೈಟ್‌ನ ನಿಖರ ಅಳತೆ, ಒಟ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣ, ಸೈಟ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಸೈಟ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವ ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯಿದೆ? ಅದು ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದೆಯೇ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ  ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಸವಿತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರು.

ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ, ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಅಥವಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸೈಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಆದೇಶಗಳ (Allotment Orders) ಪ್ರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

Mysuru, July 10: An incident of alleged assault has been reported after RTI activist Jai Stephen Sujith sought official records and information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act regarding an unallotted corner site and a building constructed on it at the end of 2nd Main Road in Sharadadevinagar, under Ward No. 45 of the Mysuru City Corporation.

A few days earlier, local Congress leader and RTI activist Stephen Sujith, while speaking to the media, had alleged that B.M. Raghu, a BJP worker, was constructing an unauthorized building on the site. He had also lodged a complaint with Mysuru City Corporation officials alleging that the construction was being carried out illegally on land belonging to the civic body.

Following these developments, Stephen Sujith alleged that he was assaulted by BJP worker B.M. Raghu and his supporters. He sustained a fractured nose in the incident and was admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, BJP worker B.M. Raghu has filed a counter-complaint, alleging that Stephen Sujith assaulted him. A case has been registered at the Saraswathipuram Police Station, and the matter is under investigation.
