ಮೈಸೂರು,ಮೇ,21,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ನಗರದ ಕುವೆಂಪುನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಕಾರು ಬಾನೆಟ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆರ್ಟಿಐ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಗಂಗರಾಜು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಎಫ್ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮೇ 20ರಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕಾರಿನ ಬಾನೆಟ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಾರು ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಭೀತಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿಡಿಯೊ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಗಂಭೀರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದ ಕುವೆಂಪುನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಗಂಗರಾಜು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೊಲೆ ಯತ್ನ (307) ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಲಂಗಳಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾರನ್ನೂ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ತನಿಖೆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಹಣಕಾಸು ವ್ಯವಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವೈಷಮ್ಯವೇ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮುಂದಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Mysuru: Kuvempunagar Police have registered an FIR against RTI activist Gangaraju in connection with the shocking car bonnet incident reported on May 20.
The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, involved a man being driven on the bonnet of a moving car, creating panic among the public.
Police have booked Gangaraju under Section 307 (attempt to murder) and other charges. The accused and the car used in the incident have been taken into custody and will be produced before the court.
Police said the incident was allegedly triggered by a financial dispute.
