India skills 2021: State team wins 24 medals


Bengaluru, January 11, 2022 ( The students of our state who had participated in the national-level round of the ‘India Skills-2021’, a global-level skills exhibition program held at New Delhi, have won a record number of 24 medals, including 8 gold and 8 silver, 4 bronze and 4 medals in excellence category. Skill Development Department Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayana has congratulated all the students who had participated in the event. The competitions were held at New Delhi from January 6 to 10 and there were 35 participants from Karnataka.
Ganesh Irkal of GTTC, Dharwad (Plastic Dye Engineering), Farhan Panthoji (CNC Milling) and Raghavendra, GTTC, Bengaluru (Mechanical Engineering CAD) won gold models.
Harish, GTTC, Dharwad won excellence award (Additive Manufacturing), Justin Belli, GTTC (Mechanical Engineering CAD) and Kishore of the same institution (Industrial Control) and K. Giridhar (Additive Manufacturing) won bronze medals.
