Trouble for former CM’s close aide: Court trial on threatening to murder former Mysuru DC

Mysuru, August 24, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The court trial of Mysuru Zilla Panchayat former President, and Congress leader K. Marigowda who is facing charges of threatening the former Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru Shikha, was held today.
The trial was held at the 3rd City Civil Court (CC No.1358/2016). As the accused K. Marigowda and two others were absent, the case was put off to August 31, upon the request made by the advocate representing the accused.
Special Government Prosecutor B.V. Ramamurthy and R. Girijesh represented IAS officer Shikha in this case.
It can be recalled here that then Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru C. Shikha had lodged a complaint against Marigowda, who is a close aide of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in the year 2016, charging him of threatening to kill her.
