Mysuru, January 21, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): A student of the G.B. Saraguru Government High School in H.D. Kote Taluk of Mysuru District named Bhavya has brought laurels to the State by securing a second place in the Video Arts 3-D Division competition held as part of the ‘National Kalotsava’, organized by the NCERT, Govt. of India.
The competition was held virtually from January 1 to 12, 2022, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The students presented their performance at the DSERT Center in Bengaluru virtually.
The results were announced on January 18. Bhavya, a student of the Government High School in G.B. Saraguru, of H.D. Kote Taluk, Mysuru District, secured second place in the Video Arts 3-D division. While Srigowri, a 2nd PUC student of the Vijaya Composite PU College, Bengaluru, won third prize in the classical singing competition, Srishti Suresh, a 9th standard student of the St. Joseph’s High School, Dharwad District, won first prize in the classical instrumental music division.
