Rs. 5 lakh compensation granted to the family of the journalist who died of Covid

Belagavi, Dec.2, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa has granted a sum of Rs.5 lakh compensation to the kin of Prajavani Kannada news correspondent of Raibagh, Belagavi district Mallappa H. Ramadurga, who died recently due to Covid.
The compensation has been provided upon the request made by the Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ). Association President Shivanand Tagaduru and journalist Chidanand Patel had visited the CM and submitted the appeal.
