ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮೇ,23,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 60 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕೊರತೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ನಡೆದು ಸುಮಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳೇ ಕಳೆದಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಗಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 2025–26 ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ 51,000 ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಮೇ 29, 2025 ರಂದು ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಪುನರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಈ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗೆ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
2025-26 ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಖಾಲಿಯಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರುಗಳ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರುಗಳನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೇರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಷರತ್ತಿಗೊಳಪಟ್ಟು ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ತ್ವರಿತ ಕ್ರಮವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿರಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. 51,000 ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪೈಕಿ 40,000ರನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಳಿದ 11,000ರನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುರಿ. ಈ ತ್ವರಿತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹೊಸ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷ ಆರಂಭದ ದಿನದಿಂದಲೇ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಆದ್ಯತೆ,” ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ಗೌರವಧನದ ಪಾವತಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿರುವ ಅನುದಾನದ ವಿವರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಥಿತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ, ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕುವಾರು ವಿವರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದೆ.

In a significant move to address the persistent shortage of teachers, the State Government has ordered the appointment of 51,000 guest teachers for the 2025–26 academic year in government primary and high schools across the state.
The measure aims to ensure that educational activities commence smoothly and on schedule, with schools set to reopen on May 29, 2025.
The appointments will be temporary, lasting either until permanent teachers are recruited and placed or until the conclusion of the academic year, whichever comes first.
This proactive step underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining educational continuity and preventing disruptions to students’ learning.
Of the total 51,000 guest teacher positions, 40,000 will be deployed in government primary schools, while 11,000 will be allocated to government high schools.
This distribution reflects the pressing need for teachers at both foundational and secondary levels within the state’s public education system.
“This decision is crucial to bridge the immediate gap in teaching staff and ensure that our students do not suffer due to a lack of teachers,” said Minister for School Education and Literacy, Sri Madhu Bangarappa.
“Our priority is to ensure that quality education is accessible from day one of the new academic year,” he added.
The government has also directed officials to prepare a detailed proposal outlining the honorarium structure for these 51,000 guest teachers, along with their district- and taluk-wise distribution. This indicates a structured approach to their deployment and compensation.
The appointment of guest teachers has been a recurring measure by the Karnataka government to cope with vacancies. While this temporary solution offers immediate relief, the long-term focus remains on the permanent recruitment of teachers to establish a stable and robust educational framework for the state.
