He participated in a virtual webinar on the topic, “Role of Community Radio during COVID-19 pandemic time,” organised by the Community Radio Centre, Mysore University.
“The concept of Community Radio was introduced in 2000 and has been striving for the development of the community. “Radio has proven itself as the only medium that has been successful in strengthening the community members in the areas of education, culture, health, and development even during COVID-19 pandemic time,” he explained.
Prof. Kanchana Mallik, Head, Hyderabad University Community Radio Department, and UNESCO Assistant Lecturer, Dr. Chetan, Chancellor, and Special Officer, Prof. Niranjan Vanalli, Dr. M.S. Swapna and others participated.
