Nivar cyclone effect: Yellow alert announced in 8 Districts

Bengaluru, Nov.26, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Following the Nivar cyclone effect from yesterday night in several coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed that there would be rain in Karnataka South Inland and Coastal Districts.
Yellow alert has been announced in several districts including Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Mandya, Tumakuru, Ramanagara and Chamarajnagara, expecting heavy rainfall. It is said that there would be heavy rainfall in and around Bengaluru city and surrounding areas.
The Nivar cyclone is as a result of the pressure in the Bay of Bengal. The Tamil Nadu government has announced a holiday following the Nivar cyclone effect.
