ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೇ, 27,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಧರಿಸಲು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಆತಂಕ ಪಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಶರಣ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವಿಕಾಸಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕಾ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಶರಣ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದಿನದಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆತಂಕ ಪಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜೆ ಬಳಿಕ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜ್ವರ, ಶೀತ, ಕೆಮ್ಮು ಇದ್ದರೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬಾರದು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶೀತ, ನೆಗಡಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇದೆ
ಸಾರಿ ಕೇಸ್ ಗಳ ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ನಾಲ್ಕು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಕ್ಸಿಜನ್ ಬೆಡ್, ವೆಂಟಿಲೇಟರ್‌ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಶರಣ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜನದಟ್ಟಣೆ ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನೆಗಡಿ ಕೆಮ್ಮು ಇರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು

ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ
ಕೊರೊನಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಇದ್ದರೂ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಜ್ವರ, ಶೀತ, ನೆಗಡಿ ಇದ್ದವರು ಧರಿಸಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು.ನಾವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಮಾನಿಟರ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಮಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಕೂಡ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಲೂ ಜ್ವರ, ನೆಗಡಿ, ಕೆಮ್ಮು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಶರಣ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಆಗ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಆತಂಕ ಪಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕ್ಷೇಮ. ವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನೇಷನ್‌ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆಗಿದೆ.ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದ್ರೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ ವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನ್ ತರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಜನರು ಆತಂಕ ಪಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಧರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಔಷಧ ಲಭ್ಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕ್ಸಿಜನ್ ಬೆಡ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಲು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

COVID Situation Under Control, Schools and Public Advised Caution: Sharan Prakash Patil
Bengaluru, May 27: With COVID-19 cases on the rise in the state, doctors and health workers have been instructed to wear masks. There is no reason for the public to panic, as the government has taken all necessary precautionary measures, said Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, minister for medical education, skill development, livelihood and Raichur district in-charge.
Speaking to the press after a COVID-19 preparedness meeting with all the directors of state-run medical colleges and hospitals at Vikas Soudha in Bengaluru, the minister reassured citizens, saying “COVID cases are increasing daily, but there is no need for undue worry. Pregnant women should use masks. The government is fully prepared. People should also cooperate with us,” he stated.
As schools are set to reopen after summer vacation, he advised that students showing symptoms of fever, cold or cough should not be sent to school. If children develop symptoms during school hours, parents should be contacted and the child sent home immediately.
Testing Facilities Ready
“We must conduct testing for all SARI (Severe Acute Respiratory Infection) cases. I’ve held meetings with directors of all medical education hospitals. We’ve arranged labs and testing will be done across four divisions. Instructions have been given to collect data on oxygen beds and ventilators,” he said.
With a possible spike in COVID cases expected in Bengaluru and across Karnataka, the minister advised elderly citizens and pregnant women to use masks in crowded places. Children showing cold or flu-like symptoms should not attend school.
Masks Not Mandatory for All — Yet
“Despite rising cases, masks are not mandatory for everyone. Only those with fever, cold or cough need to wear them. We’re monitoring the situation closely. This time, heavy rains and changing weather are also causing seasonal illness,” said Dr. Patil.
Bengaluru is witnessing the highest number of new COVID cases in the state. However, the infection is not spreading rapidly. “There is no need for panic if people follow government guidelines. Most people are already vaccinated. If necessary, we’ll coordinate with the Union Health Ministry to procure more vaccines,” he assured.
Even as cases increase, there is no cause for alarm. Testing facilities should be kept ready. As a precaution, health workers must wear masks. Instructions have been given to check the availability of medicines and oxygen beds and to submit reports accordingly.
