ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜುಲೈ,5,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಖಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಟ್ಟು 5.56 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯ ಪೈಕಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 3.4 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ನೈಜವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ಶನಿವಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ಪೀಯೂಷ್ ಗೋಯೆಲ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ವೈಮಾನಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕ್ರೋನ್ಸ್, ಸಾಫ್ರಾನ್, ಟಿಎಎಸ್ಎಲ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಿವೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇಂಡಿಗೋ ಮತ್ತು ಏರ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಂಆರ್ ಓ ಘಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿವೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ದೇಶದ ಎಂಆರ್ ಓ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದರು.
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನೂತನ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ನೀತಿಯು ಉದ್ಯಮಸ್ನೇಹಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಸಮತೋಲನ ನಿವಾರಣೆ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ & ಡಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಮಲ ಬಾಲಿ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸೆಲ್ವಕುಮಾರ್ , ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಗುಂಜನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರರು ಇದ್ದರು.

62% of GIM Manufacturing Sector Commitments Converted to Project Applications: MB Patil
Bengaluru: MB Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, stated on Saturday that of the ₹5.56 lakh crore investment commitments received for the manufacturing sector at the Global Investors Meet – Invest Karnataka 2025, proposals worth approximately ₹3.4 lakh crore have already resulted in the filing of formal project applications—accounting for 62% of the total value.
Speaking at an exclusive session with Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Patil said this strong conversion rate is a result of sustained post-MoU engagement with investors, ensuring that intent translates into tangible action.
“Companies such as Krones, Safran, TASL, and many others have already filed formal applications with the state, with several having already commenced groundwork. Additionally, with both IndiGo and Air India now operating MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facilities in Karnataka, alongside TASL’s upcoming MRO unit and HAL’s existing operations, Karnataka has truly earned its place as the ‘MRO Capital of Asia’,” Patil noted.
The minister further stated that of the total ₹10.27 lakh crore worth of investment commitments secured during the GIM, proposals valued at ₹4.34 lakh crore—nearly 42%—have already been converted. “As the world adopts the China+1 strategy and responds to uncertainties caused by global conflicts, Karnataka has emerged as a dependable and natural partner. We are building not just industrial parks, but self-contained ecosystems that are future-ready and innovation-driven,” he emphasised.
The new State Industrial Policy, launched during the GIM, has been widely appreciated for its progressive and inclusive framework. The policy places a strong emphasis on sustainability by integrating decarbonisation goals, green regulatory frameworks, and dedicated promotion of green industrial practices. It also offers targeted additional incentives for Zone 1 and Zone 2 districts, supporting balanced regional development.
Highlighting the state government’s commitment to aligning policy with industry needs, Patil added that the policy includes special incentives for generating local employment, encouraging women’s participation in the workforce, and promoting the relocation of R&D operations to Karnataka.
