ವೈದ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ಕೋರಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ, ನಂತರ ಗಾಯಾಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಗಾಯಾಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಭರಿಸುವುದು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಮೂರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ಹೊಸ್ಮಟ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ವಿಕ್ಟೋರಿಯಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಮುನ್ನ ಬೋರಿಂಗ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಓರ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಡಿಸ್ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಲೋಕೋಪಯೋಗಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ವರದಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದರು. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸಿಇಒ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Minister Madhu Bangarappa Visits Injured Students After School Mishap in Devanahalli
Bengaluru, Aug 26: Minister for School Education and Literacy, Sri S. Madhu Bangarappa, on Tuesday visited the injured students of the Government Boys Higher Primary School, Kote, Devanahalli Town, after a lintel of the window from the school building collapsed, injuring three children.
He further discussed with the doctors, gathered complete information and urged them to provide treatment to the student. Later, he met the injured student and their family members and consoled the students who are undergoing treatment.
He visited Hosmat Hospital in Bengaluru, where one student was admitted for further treatment. He assured the parents that all medical expenses will be fully borne by the Education Department and directed officials to monitor the students’ health round the clock.
Of the three injured students, one remains admitted at Hosmat while another has been shifted to Victoria Hospital for further treatment. One who was admitted at Bowring Hospital has been discharged.
The Minister instructed officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) to carry out a thorough inspection of the school building and submit a detailed report.
Senior district officials, including the Deputy Commissioner and CEO of Bengaluru Rural Zilla Panchayat, have already visited the school and issued directions.
“The safety of children is our top priority. The government will ensure proper care, medical support and strict action to prevent such incidents in the future,” Minister Madhu Bangarappa said.
