ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮೇ,26, 2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ತಾವು ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಚಿವ ರಾಜನಾಥ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಗಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಡಿಫೆನ್ಸ್ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ನೀತಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಚಂದ್ರಬಾಬು ನಾಯ್ಡು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಚ್ಎಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರು ಈ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೂ ಎಚ್ಎಎಲ್ ಘಟಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೆ ಕೇಳಿರಬಹುದು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ಎಚ್ ಎಎಲ್ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಉತ್ತರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳು‌ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಡಿಫೆನ್ಸ್ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರವೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವಹಿವಾಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಶೇಕಡಾ 65ರಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಯೋಜ‌ನೆಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸದೇ ಇದ್ದುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಚಂದ್ರಬಾಬು ನಾಯ್ಡು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆ ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಲೇಪಾಕ್ಷಿಯಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಜಮೀನು ಕೊಡಲಿ, ಮಡಕಶಿರಾದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಭೂಮಿ ಕೊಡಲಿ, ಅದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರಲಾರರು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿರುವೆ. ರಾಜನಾಥ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕಾರದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳ ಜತೆ ನೀತಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Karnataka Deserves Defence Corridor on Merit; Will Meet Rajanath Shortly, Says M.B. Patil
Bengaluru: Karnataka, which contributes 65% to the national defence and aerospace industry, rightfully deserves the sanctioning of a Defence Corridor based on merit, said M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, on Monday.
Speaking to the media, Patil stated, “I will visit New Delhi shortly to urge the Centre to approve the Defence Corridor project for our state.” He further said that he plans to hold discussions with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other concerned authorities in this regard.
Responding to reports in certain sections of the media suggesting that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been seeking to shift HAL’s Bengaluru operations to his state, Patil clarified, “Requesting the setting up of a unit in Andhra Pradesh as part of HAL’s expansion plans is understandable, but asking to transfer the existing Bengaluru operations is not justifiable.”
“To my understanding, Chandrababu Naidu may not have asked for shifting Bengaluru operations. He might have only requested the establishment of a new unit there. However, if he has indeed requested the relocation of operations from Bengaluru, that would not be appropriate,” Patil emphasised.
He also pointed out that Karnataka should have been granted the Defence Corridor project much earlier. “While the project was sanctioned to Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu two years ago, we did not oppose its allocation to other states. However, we wish to highlight that Karnataka fully qualifies for the project purely on merit — not due to political influence,” he asserted.
Patil further noted, “Before visiting New Delhi, we will take all our ministers into confidence. The reported development regarding Chandrababu Naidu’s proposal at the NITI Aayog meeting, seeking the relocation of HAL, will be discussed with the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary to the Government.”
