ಕೋಲಾರ,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,19,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಪಾನೀಯ, ದ್ರವ ಅಹಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜಿಂಗ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜರ್ಮನಿ ಮೂಲದ ಕ್ರೋನ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ನೂತನ ಬಾಟ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಸ್ಥಾವರವನ್ನು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಬುಧವಾರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು, ‘ನಮ್ಮ ಸರಕಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ 2024ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೋನ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, 30 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ಬಳಿಕ 2025ರ ಫೆ.20ರಂದು ಈ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಭೂಮಿಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇದಾದ ಕೇವಲ 18 ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಭವ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ದಾಖಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ರವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕ್ರೋನ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಈ ನಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ 16 ಸಾವಿರ ಚದರ ಮೀಟರ್ ನಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರದ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಘಟಕ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು 315 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ 400 ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಲಿವೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವ ವೇಮಗಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಲಾರ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಅಗಾಧ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳಿವೆ. ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಯುವಜನರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಹತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕೊಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕ್ರೋನ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ವಿಶ್ವಾದ್ಯಂತ 21 ಸಾವಿರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ 5.65 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ವಹಿವಾಟು ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೂ ಮೌಲಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಎರ್ಗೋಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜಿಂಗ್ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಬಾಟಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೊಕೊ ಕೋಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಬಾಟಲಿ ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಖುಷಿಯ ವಿಚಾರ. ಸರಕಾರದ ಅಂಗವಾದ ಕೆಐಎಡಿಬಿ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪಾಟೀಲ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Vemagal (Kolara district): Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil on Wednesday inaugurated a new manufacturing facility for bottling machinery established by Germany-based KRONES, a global leader in beverage and liquid-food processing and packaging technology, at the industrial area here. The facility has been built in a record time of 18 months.
Speaking on the occasion, Patil said, “After our Government assumed office, we approved KRONES’ investment proposal in October 2024 and allotted 30 acres of land to the company. Subsequently, I performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the facility on February 20, 2025. In just 18 months, this impressive facility has come up. This is a remarkable achievement and sends a positive message to investors,” he said.
KRONES has established a manufacturing facility spread over 16,000 square metres on the site. The company has invested ₹315 crore in the facility, which is expected to create 400 jobs. Vemagal and Kolara, located close to Bengaluru, have immense potential for industrial growth. Companies should come forward to provide employment opportunities to local youth commensurate with their educational qualifications, he said.
KRONES employs around 21,000 people worldwide. The company, which recorded a turnover of $5.65 billion last year, will make a significant contribution to the State’s economy as well. The facility will manufacture high-quality ErgoBloc packaging systems for the Indian market. It will also produce machinery required for manufacturing different types of bottles. It is particularly encouraging that the facility will manufacture machines capable of producing up to 100,000 Coca-Cola-type bottles an hour, Patil said. He added that KIADB, a State Government agency, has become synonymous with an investor-friendly industrial culture.
