ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ನಿರ್ಮಿತ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಜೆ.ಜಾರ್ಜ್

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್, 30, 2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಕೋರಮಂಗಲ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂನ ಎಸ್-16 ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಉಪ ವಿಭಾಗ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ನೂತನ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಇಂಧನ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಜೆ.ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಎಸ್-16 ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಉಪ ವಿಭಾಗ ಕಚೇರಿ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಬಿಟಿಎಂ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 3.17 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡದಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ನೂತನ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಇಂಧನ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಜೆ.ಜಾರ್ಜ್, “ನಗರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ಬಿಟಿಎಂ ಲೇಔಟ್‌ ಉಪ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 83,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳಿವೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ನೂತನ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂನ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

“ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಜತೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಂತವಾಗಿ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೊರೆ ತಗ್ಗಲಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ.ಎನ್.ಶಿವಶಂಕರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ

ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂನ ಎಸ್-16 ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಉಪ ವಿಭಾಗ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ನೂತನ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಬಿಟಿಎಂ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 3.17 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, 7431.50 ಚದರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಅಂತಸ್ತನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

BESCOM’s New BTM Layout Sub-Division Office Inaugurated by Energy Minister KJ George

Bengaluru, June 30, 2025 – Energy Minister K.J. George officially inaugurated the newly constructed building of BESCOM’s S-16 Madiwala Sub-Division Office, located in the Koramangala zone today.

Until now, the S-16 Madiwala Sub-Division Office was operating from a rented building. It will now operate from the newly constructed building in BTM Layout, built at a cost of ₹3.17 crore.

While inaugurating the new facility, Energy Minister K.J. George highlighted that the BTM Layout sub-division—one of Bengaluru’s prominent residential areas—has over 83,000 connections. He noted that the new centre will enable BESCOM to provide its services to the public more efficiently.

“Along with power supply, BESCOM is also focusing on creating its infrastructure, which will help reduce financial burdens in the future. With all essential infrastructure in place, services will now be made available to the public even more efficiently,” Energy Minister added.

Building Highlights

The new building of BESCOM’s S-16 Madiwala Sub-Division Office has been constructed in BTM Layout at a cost of approximately ₹3.17 crore. It is a three-storey structure built over an area of 7,431.50 square feet.
