ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ನ.೧೫,೨೦೨೫ : ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಬೇಲೂರು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಪಾನ್ ಮೂಲದ ನೈಡೆಕ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು 600 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುವ ಆರ್ಚರ್ಡ್ ಹಬ್ ಗೆ ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ನೈಡೆಕ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೆ ಐದು ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾನೇ ಭೂಮಿಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದ ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರವು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಅಗಾಧ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿ, ಈ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುವುದು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ನೈಡೆಕ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಆರ್ಚರ್ಡ್ ಹಬ್ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸಹೊಸ ಔದ್ಯಮಿಕ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಲಿವೆ. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಇದು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಿವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಪಾನಿನ ಕಂಪನಿಯೊಂದು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಬೃಹತ್ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಲಾಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರವು ಕೂಡ ತನ್ನ ಹೊಸ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಹಲವು ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ನೈಡೆಕ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಜಪಾನಿನ ಹತ್ತಾರು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯೂರಿದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜಪಾನಿ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಟೌನ್ ಶಿಪ್ ಕೂಡ ಇದೆ. ತಾವು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಜಪಾನಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 4,500 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಖಾತ್ರಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬಾರಿಯ ಜಪಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕೊರಿಯಾ ಭೇಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ 6,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಬಂದಿತು ಎಂದು ಪಾಟೀಲ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ಜೋಶಿ, ಶಾಸಕ ಅರವಿಂದ ಬೆಲ್ಲದ, ನೈಡೆಕ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಿರೋಶಿ ಕೋಬೆ, ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮೋಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎನರ್ಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಮೈಕೆಲ್ ಬ್ರಿಗ್ಸ್, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತೆ ಗುಂಜನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Bengaluru: Minister for Large and Medium Industries M. B. Patil on Friday launched the Orchard Hub established at a cost of ₹600 crore by Japan-based Nidec Company in the Beluru Industrial Area of Dharawada.
Speaking on the occasion, he recalled performing the ground-breaking ceremony for the hub five months ago. The State Government, he said, provided all the facilities sought by the company. In turn, Nidec has invested substantial capital and set up this modern centre in record time — an achievement he described as commendable.
He noted that the Nidec Orchard Hub is an innovation- and technology-driven industrial centre that will bring together new industrial ideas and research. Ultimately, he said, it will help create a strong pathway for industrial growth.
This is one of the largest investments by a Japanese company in the northern Karnataka region. The project is expected to create local employment opportunities and bring indirect benefits to surrounding communities. The Minister added that under the State’s new industrial policy, several measures have been introduced to encourage companies to set up industries outside Bengaluru.
Patil further recalled that several Japanese companies, including Nidec, have already established operations in Karnataka, which also houses a Japanese Industrial Township. He mentioned that during his recent visit to Japan, investments worth ₹4,500 crore were confirmed for the State, while earlier visits to Japan and South Korea had resulted in commitments totalling ₹6,000 crore.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MLA Aravind Bellad, Nidec Corporation President Hiroshi Kobe, the company’s Motion and Energy Division Head Michael Briggs, and Commissioner for Industries and Commerce Gunjan Krishna were present on the occasion.
