Increase in corona cases in State: Mysuru DC orders citizens to follow guidelines

Mysuru, Mar. 18, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Following an increase in the number of Corona cases in the Mysuru District day-by-day, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri today has issued orders to the citizens both in the City and rural areas to follow guidelines compulsorily like wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.
Speaking to the media persons today Rohini Sindhuri expressed her view that there is a fear of a second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the State, following the increase in corona cases in the neighboring states Maharashtra and Kerala.Increase – corona- infection -again –covid rule – compulsory-Mysore DC- Rohini Sindhuri.
“The citizens are requested to compulsorily follow the guidelines like wearing mask and maintaining social distancing. It is more important in rural areas to prevent the spread of pandemic,” she said.
On the occasion, she also requested all those who are above 60 years of age should take the COVID vaccination and immediately report to the nearest hospital in case of any symptoms.
