Violation of weekend curfew rules: Cases registered against DKShi, Siddaramaiah and 30 others

Mandya, January 10, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Cases have been registered against KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and 30 others who participated in the padayatra taken out against the State Government demanding implementation of the Mekedatu project, violating COVID Curfew rules.
An FIR has been registered at the Satanur Police Station under the Disaster Management Act, alleging violation of weekend curfew rules.
In the meantime, the first day of the padayatra covered 15 km. The members who participated in the padayatra reached Doddalahalli Village, the native of KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar, yesterday night. Cases have been registered against D.K. Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, and 30 others for participating in the padayatra violating the COVID weekend curfew rules.
