Union Home Minister Amit Shah asks DCs to make efforts to control COVID-19 Pandemic in rural areas

New Delhi, May 18, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a virtual meeting of the Deputy Commissioners of the districts where the COVID-19 Pandemic is spreading swiftly in the states.
Deputy Commissioners’ of 17 districts of Karnataka took part in the meeting. In the meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah explained that the oxygen shortage had been fulfilled under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several countries have provided oxygen and the Govt. of India is handling the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic effectively.
“The pandemic is spreading swiftly in rural areas in several states and it is a challenge to handle it. I request you to expedite and manage testing, tracking, and treatment process and handle it efficiently to bring the pandemic under control,” he added.
