Triton Electric Vehicles to invest in Karnataka: CM BSY

Bengaluru, Apr. 6, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa held a virtual meeting with the Chief Executive Officer Himanshu Patel of the America-based Triton Electric Vehicles regarding investing in the state.triton-electric-vehicle-company-support-investment-state-cm-bs-yeddyurappa
Yedyurappa assured to provide all the required cooperation and support from the government to invest in the state. An electric vehicle manufacturing cluster is being constructed in an area of more than 500 acres in Ramanagara District, which will provide suitable infrastructure.
Karnataka is the first state in the country to introduce the electric vehicle policy. The Chief Minister also informed that the policy will be further reconsidered to make it more investment-friendly.
Himanshu Patel informed that the company would be happy to invest in Karnataka and said that the possibilities would be checked and another round of discussion would be held soon.
Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar, Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Selvakumar, and others were present.
