Yes. According to him, the BJP high command had made an agreement with Yediyurappa to be the Chief Minister for two years. The agreement was made at the time of the collapse of the coalition government in the State.
Speaking at Chamarajanagara today Srinivas Prasad observed that the high command had BSY that they would offer him to be the CM even if he is older for the post as per the party rule. The party has made it mandatory that nobody above 75 years of age should be in the Cm’s post. “That is why they had made an agreement and accordingly BSY is resigning now, Srinivas Prasad said.
