Srikanteswara temple in Nanjangud receives huge contribution from devotees

Mysuru February 26, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud which is considered as the Kashi of the south has received huge contributions in the form of hundi, from devotees.
The temple has received a sum of Rs. 2 crore contribution this year just in two months. A sum of Rs. 2,04,08,923 has been received in the hundi, according to the temple authorities.
Also devotees have contributed 120 gm gold and 5.60 kg silver. The temple also has received Rs.28,500 demonetised currency notes in the form of contribution. The currency includes old Rs. 1,000 and Rs.500 notes.
