ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಮೀರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಖಾನ್, ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲೀಂ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೈಎಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಬಂದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು ನೆನಪಾಗ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು ನೆನಪಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಜಾಫರ್ ಷರೀಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಂದು ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದರು.
ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಕೇವಲ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಮುಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಯಕರು ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸಹಿಸಲ್ಲ. ಇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಡ್ರೈವರ್ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರಂತೆ ನಾನು ಬಿಬಿಎಂಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸ ಗುಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನಾ? ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ರೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಬೆಳಗಾದ್ರೆ ಸಾಕು ನಾಯಿ, ಆನೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾತಾಡ್ತೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಯಾರು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ? ಎಂದು ಗರಂ ಆದರು.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಿಂದ ಸೂಟ್ ಕೇಸ್ ಪಡೆದು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ಧ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಮೀರ್, ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹರಿಹಾಯ್ದಿದ್ದು, ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಸೂಟ್ ಕೇಸ್ ಬಂದಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Speaking in Hubballi today, he said, “the JDS will field its candidates wherever there are Muslim candidates. He will remember the minorities only during elections. During mass elections, he won’t remember us. It was H.D. Kumaraswamy who defeated Jaffer Sharief,” he said.
“He is not only destroying the Muslims. He is also destroying the Vokkaligas. Kumaraswamy won’t tolerate others’ development. He calls me a driver. Was I brooming in BBMP like him? If he continues this, I won’t keep quiet. I will reveal all his secrets one by one. Every morning you start using words like dog, elephant, etc.? Who made you an elephant?” he added.
