ಪಿಎಸ್ ಐ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ 4ನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಅಮೃತ್ ಪೌಲ್ ರನ್ನ ಸಿಐಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಬೌರಿಂಗ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿರುವ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅರಗ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ, ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಅಮೃತ್ ಪೌಲ್ ರನ್ನ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಧಾರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಆಫೀಸ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ಒಎಂಆರ್ ಶೀಟ್ ತಿದ್ದುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಯಾವುಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡದಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಪ್ಪು ತಿಂದವರು ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

PSI illegal recruitment case: ADGP Amruth Pal arrested
Bengaluru, July 4, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The CID police has arrested ADGP Amruth Pal in connection with the illegal recruitment of 545 PSI case.
Head of recruitment division Amruth Pal appeared for the 4th time for interrogation in connection with the illegal PSI recruitment case. The CID police took him to custody and has taken him to the Bowring Hospital for medical examination.
Responding to the media persons regarding this development, Home Minister Araga Jnanendra confirmed that the ADGP has been arrested following unearthing of evidences. He informed that an OMR sheet has been edited at the ADGPs office itself. “We have asked not to spare any officer who is involved in this case. Those who have committed a mistake have to face consequences without fail,” the home minister said.
