Protest demanding inclusion of Panchamasalis under 2A reservation ended temporarily

Bengaluru, Mar.15, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Leaders of the Panchamasali community along with Swamijis of the community who were on a protest from the last few days demanding inclusion of their community under 2A for reservation have ended the protest temporarily.
Minister C.C. Patil, MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal appealed to the Swamiji’s to withdraw the protest following the assurance from Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa’s. According to Mrutyunjayaswamiji the protest demonstration has been called off temporarily following Yedyurappa’s assurance of getting the report on reservations in the next six months.
“We have decided to withdraw the protest till the next six months. MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal was standing behind us throughout our efforts. We have ended the protest as per his advice. The State Government should decide about the reservation within the next six months.Request - reservation -2A-panchamasali- End - temporarily –fight
Meanwhile, MLA Basavanagouda Patil Yatnal said, ” We had appealed the Chief Minister to provide comprehensive reservation for all the sub castes too. However, he has given instructions to prepare a report within the next six months and we are sure to get a clear picture within that time. Hence, I wish to appreciate the Chief Minister.”
