No bed at Manipal Hospital for COVID infected former CM HDK

Bengaluru, Apr. 17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has tested Corona positive. He intended to get admitted to the Manipal Hospital, but he was refused to be admitted due to a shortage of beds, according to sources. The situation has led to questions among the common people who have started asking when the condition of a former Chief Minister is like this, what would the common man do?
H.D. Kumaraswamy appeared to be tired on Friday evening when he had gone for the bypoll campaigning at Basavakalyana. He returned to Bengaluru and directly when to the hotel instead of his home. Today he visited the doctor and tested positive for Corona.former-cm-hd-kumaraswamy-contracted-coronavirus-no-bed-manipal-hospital
When he was advised to be hospitalized he contacted the Manipal Hospital where he couldn’t find a bed. His attempt to get a bed through Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar also did not yield any result.
Hence, he had to contact another private hospital where he has confirmed a bed. But he couldn’t get admitted to the hospital as he had to appear before the court concerning some case. As it is unsafe to attend the court in this condition, arrangements were made to attend the court proceedings through video conferencing. After that, he will get treatment in the hospital, as per information provided by MLC H.M. Rameshgowda.
