Speaking to the presspersons in Bengaluru today Minister K. Sudhakar expressed his view that the decision of imposing night curfew was not by Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa. “I had demanded it. Even the technical committee had also demanded it. We have withdrawn it because of the pressure from opposition parties. We have withdrawn it considering that it will cause trouble to many. However, it doesn’t come to my authority. I had suggested the Home Minister, but he hesitated. He has more experience and he has taken this decision based on his experience,” he explained.
