Mysuru District Journalists Association condemns attack on journo: Demands action

Mysuru, September 16, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) has condemned the attack on a journalist, by the members of Hindu Jagaran Vedike, in Mysuru, while they were demonstrating.
The MDJA President S.T. Ravikumar has written a letter to the Mysuru City Police Commissioner condemning the incident and has requested to initiate action against those who attacked the journo. Chief Editor of The Daily Kowser newspaper Mohammed Saflar Kaiser was at the spot where the members of Hindu Jagaran Veidke were demonstrating today morning in front of the Kote Anjaneya Swami temple in Mysuru. A few among the demonstrators who grew suspicious attacked him. Suspecting a journalist and attacking him is not a good development, he stated.
MDJA also has urged suitable against those who attacked the journo, and also has requested the police to provide suitable security to journalists who attend religious programs.
