Minister S.T. Somashekar orders legal action against those who attacked doctors at K.R. Hospital

Mysuru, May 14, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar has ordered the officials concerned to take action against the people who attacked the doctors at K.R. hospital, in Mysuru.
Speaking in Mysuru today the Minister said that such incidents should not repeat. “I have asked the Police Commissioner to provide proper security to the staff working at K.R. Hospital. We have also planned to appoint an additional Dean to the hospital to reduce the work pressure. I have already spoken about this with the Chief Minister. We will take all necessary measures to protect the doctors and stop repeating such incidents,” he explained.kr-hospital-doctor-assult-minister-st-somashekhar-action
In his response to the question of the ‘Black Fungus’ problem that is appearing among COVID patients in Mysuru, he said that only one case was found and no fatality has been reported. The infected person was at K.R. Hospital for 14-15 days. He faced the ‘Black Fungus’ problem after he was discharged from the hospital, but he is being treated now and the doctor has informed him that there is no need to panic.
In his response to the continuation of the lockdown, the Minister said there is still to decide on it.
