Maharashtra rekindles border issue again by releasing documentary

Bengaluru, Jan. 29, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Maharashtra has released a documentary showing that Belagavi and Karwar belong to Maharashtra state.
By releasing the 50-year-old documentary titled ‘A Case for Justice’, the Maharashtra government has rekindled the border issue. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had recently given a statement that Belagavi belongs to Maharashtra earning the wrath of Kannadigas.
The 35-minute duration documentary, directed by Kumarsen Smarthan is produced by Maharashtra government. The documentary shows that Belagavi and Karwar belong to Maharashtra.
