Let the govt. provide relief to the people and impose lockdown: Former CM HDK

Bengaluru, May 17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy today informed that if the government wants to extend the lockdown period let it provide the required relief to the people and then extend it.
In his tweet today the former CM has mentioned that the State Govt. should provide food package and other relief measures if it is going to extend the lockdown period. We have also suggested it during the all-party meeting.
The State Govt. should learn from our neighboring states. Let them see how our neighboring states are imposing lockdown. “Only prevention of people from coming out of houses should not be the objective. Controlling the pandemic should be their aim. Let them announce relief package,” he added.
