Let COVID vaccines be given free of cost to public – Siddaramaiah writes to PM Modi

Bengaluru, Mar. 05, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to provide COVID vaccination free of cost to the public.
“COVID vaccination has begun across the country. Two doses of the vaccine have been permitted for each person. Prices have been fixed for common people to get the vaccination. I request you to kindly provide the vaccination free of cost. The people of the country are facing a lot of problems due to the COVID pandemic and the vaccination has triggered hope among them. But the campaign is moving at a very slow pace and only 0.5% of the population has been reached. Whereas the percentage in Israel is 36%, America 6%, England 4%. All these countries are providing vaccination free of cost,” the letter read.
