Health Dept. issues orders to install CCTV cameras in all hospital wards and ICUs across the State

Bengaluru, May 8, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Health Department, Government of Karnataka has issued a circular directing all the hospitals in the District and Taluks to install CCTV cameras in all the wards and ICUs.
The Department has asked the Directors, Medical Universities, District Health Officers, Medical Administrators to install CCTVs within May 11. The expenditure that is incurred to install the CCTVs should be borne under the Health Protection Committee funds or any other funds available in the hospital. The nodal officers are also instructed to check whether all the hospitals have installed CCTVs and report to the State Health Department by May 12.
