Graduates Constituency elections: One each from BJP-JDS and three from Cong. fight for ticket


Mysuru, September 20, 2021 ( According to reliable sources, the notification for the registration of graduate voters for the South Graduates Constituency Election will be issued within a week. As candidates have not been finalized in all three parties, it has triggered curiosity.
The Central Election Commission is supposed to issue the orders for the Graduates Constituency Elections to be held in six states of the country, including Karnataka. Registration of graduate voters is supposed to begin soon after issuing the notification by the Election Commission. In the meantime, the ticket aspirants are involved in making preparations by conducting meetings.
The Election Commission is supposed to allow registration of graduate voters in three phases and will issue the notification in the third week of September or the last week probably. Registration will begin again in December this year and February next year. The Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, Hassan Districts come under the South Graduates Constituency limits. The Deputy Commissioners of the respective Districts and Taluk Tahsildars will finalize the registration of voters by functioning as the Election Officers.
The Election Commission has allowed online and offline registration of the voters this year, and preparations are being made for the same. The aspirants and all other people concerned shall download the registration forms and perform the registration process as specified. As changes have been made to the old form as per notification, new forms are awaited.
