Bengaluru, Nov. 21,2020 (www.justkannada.in): In the background of the forthcoming Gram Panchayat elections, the Election Commission has expedited the election related works. It has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioners of all districts regarding providing training to the voting booth officers.
It is said that in its letter the EC has mentioned to adopt a few points while providing training to the booth officers, including using of NIC software for Taluk-level randomisation process of voting booth staff. In the pretext of COVID pandemic, instructions also has been given to divide the booth officials in groups who have been assigned for election duty and take measures to provide uniform training to all.
