Furor in LC: Show Cause notice issued to LC Secretary

Bengaluru, Dec. 18, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Speaker of the Legislative Council Sri Pratapchandra Shetty has issued a show-cause notice to the Legislative Council Secretary concerning the recent incident of furor in the council.
It can be recalled here that the Karnataka Legislative Council had witnessed a furor on December 15. An incident of this intensity had never taken place in the history of the upper house in the State it is learned. He has also ordered to give a reply within 48 hours.
In the letter, he has questioned why did he remain silent despite seeing everything? The Karnataka Legislative Council had a clean history, and the recent incident had marred its reputation, and hence he has asked to reply.
