Former PM H.D. Devegowda visits G.T. Devegowda’s residence: GTD to stay in JDS

Mysuru, October 20, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): As the assembly elections in the state is nearing, the JDS is making all attempts to convince the rebel JDS MLAs. JDS supremo and former Prime Minister H.D. Devegowda today visited MLA G.T. Devegowda, at the latter’s residence.
He was accompanied by former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and JDS State President C.M. Ibrahim.
During the visit G.T. Devegowda touched the feet of H.D. Devegowda and received his blessings. “We have grown in politics through JDS. Our sole aim is to strengthen the party. Even in the last three years when I was away from the party, I have never criticized the party. It was H.D. Devegowda who developed the irrigational sector in the State. Entire people of the state loves him. It is his intention to bring a government to power which will support the farmers. Kumaraswamy’s government should come to power in the state. Our family will remain with JDS,” he said, and apologised Congress leader Siddaramaiah and the BJP.
