Former CM Siddaramaiah faces protest heat: Eggs thrown at his car, black flags flashed

Kodagu, August 18, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister and leader of the opposition in the assembly Siddaramaiah today experienced the heat of a protest when he visited Kodagu to check the condition of the rain-hit places.
Miscreants threw eggs at his car as his car reached the Timmaiah circle in Kodagu. Members of the BJP Yuvamorcha took out a demonstration against him and flashed black flags. There was an argument between the Congress and BJP activists at the place causing tension for a while.
BJP activists protested by flashing black flags at Titimathi in Ponnampet Taluk in Kodagu. A few people waylaid his car and also threw pictures of Savarkar inside his car as a token of their protest and shouted slogans, “Go back Siddukhan, Go back Siddaramaiah.”
