Mysuru, Nov. 18, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Mysore University expressed his view that felicitating achievers will indeed become an inspiration to the youngsters.
Presiding over the felicitation programme to former Mysore University VC Prof. K.S. Rangappa and Department of Research in Chemistry Retd. Professor Prof. K. Basavaiah today, he said that it was in fact a matter of pride that two persons from the university were recognised as the world’s top 2% scientists.
“There are no confusions in administration of the university. It is just that we have to develop more concern and stop being narrow-minded. Everything will fall in place. Let us all focus on development of the university,” he said.
Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar, MU, Prof. K.M. Mahadevan, Registrar-Examinations, Prof.Nagarajanayaka, HOD, Department of Research in Chemistry and others were present.
