ಮೈಸೂರು, ಅ.12, 2020 : (www.justkannada.in news) : ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ 100 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಅ.19 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡುವರು.
ಅಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕ್ರಾಫರ್ಡ್ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಸಮಾರಂಭ ನಡೆಸಲು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲ ವಾಜುಬಾಯಿ ವಾಲ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸುವರು. ಪ್ರದಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ (through virtual mode ) ಮಾಡುವರು.

Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be delivering the convocation address of the University of Mysore, on October 19 (Monday), 11 am. This will be a virtual address.
The University is conducting its 100th convocation this year.
the centenary convocation would be presided over by Governor Vajubai Vala, who is also the chancellor. Higher Education Minister Ashwath Narayana and the vice chancellor will be present in this virtual mode of convocation where degrees would be presented to Phd students and toppers in different disciplines.
Sources said that almost all universities, as per the UGC rules, have switched over to virtual (online) meetings and convocations due to the prevailing pandemic situation.
