COVID vaccination for people between 18-45 years of age: Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar requests not to visit hospitals tomorrow

Bengaluru, Apr. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The government had announced that COVID vaccination will be available for all citizens between 18 and 45 years of age from tomorrow i.e., May 1, 2021. But the Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has appealed to the people of the state not to visit the hospitals for vaccination tomorrow.
Speaking about this in Bengaluru today the Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar informed that COVID vaccination is still not available for people between 18-45 years of age as the Serum Institute has still not supplied it. “We still have to receive the vaccines from the companies. We have not received any information from them. Hence, we request the people to visit the hospitals to get the vaccination only after the government issues official orders,” he clarified.over-18-age-will-not-vaccinated-tomorrow-health-minister-k-sudhakar
He also informed the Govt. of Karnataka that has requested to supply 1 crore doses of the COVID vaccination.
