COVID technical committee suggests State Govt. not suitable to commence schools till 2nd week of August

Bengaluru, August 3, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The number of new COVID cases in the neighboring Maharashtra and Kerala states is increasing, causing an alarm in Karnataka. Meanwhile, the technical advisory committee to the government has advised the State Government not to commence schools till the second week of August.
It is learnt that the technical advisory committee has arrived at several decisions on July 30. Accordingly, it has advised the State government that it is not suitable to commence schools till August 16 and has also suggested imposing new rules in the State till then.
