ಮೈಸೂರು,ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್,26,2020(www.justkannada.in): ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ ‌ನಿಂದ ಬಂದವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೆ ಇದೀಗ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೂ ಪಾಸಿಟಿವ್ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ, genomic sequencing ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಾನ್ಸ್‌ ಗೆ  ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ  ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಸಿಂಧೂರಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು,  ಸೋಮವಾರದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಮಸ್ಟರಿಂಗ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿ‌ನಿಧಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಬ್ರಿಟನ್‌ನಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಆ  ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು, ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಆ ಪೈಕಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಪಾಸಿಟೀವ್ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 14ರಂದು  ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರೂಪಾಂತರಗೊಂಡ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಎಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೋಮವಾರದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಭಯಪಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.‌

ಬ್ರಿಟನ್‌ನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಒಟ್ಟು 137 ಜನರ ಪೈಕಿ 23 ಜನರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ 23 ಜನ ಮೊದಲೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆವು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನಾಳೆ ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದ ಗ್ರಾಮಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಮತದಾನ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿತರಿಗೂ ಮತದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂಜೆ 5 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 6 ಗಂಟೆವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಮತದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿತರು ಬಂದು ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿ ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಸಿಂಧೂರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Sibling of Britain returnee also turns COVID positive in Msyuru
Mysuru, Dec. 26, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): One person who returned to Mysuru from Britain recently was found Corona positive. His sibling is also infected now, following investigations conducted by the District Administration, which has sent the sample for gene sequencing test to NIMHANS, in Bengaluru.
Mysuru District Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhoori gave information to the media persons today. She also informed, probably the results will be received by Monday.
“There were three persons in primary contact and three persons in secondary contact with the Britain returnee who is found to be Corona positive. Out of them, one person has turned positive. They had returned to Mysuru on December 14. But we are still not sure whether it is the New Coronavirus strain. We will get to know about it by Monday. But people need not be scared about it,” she explained.
