Cooperation is important in all areas: UoM VC

Mysuru, February 3, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “Cooperation is an essential factor in all areas and is very important. Any work cannot be completed without cooperation,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He participated in the ‘Sahakaara Samman,’ a program organized by the Mysuru-Chamarajangara District Cooperative Central Bank, Karnataka State Cooperative Board Ltd., Bengaluru and Mysuru District Milk Producers’ Associations Federation, and the Mysuru District Cooperative Union, held at the Rani Bahaddur Auditorium in Manasagangotri campus, to give away awards to the Agricultural Cooperative Societies. He released the souvenir on the occasion.
In his address, he said, “In our country, the cooperative sector exists from ancient times. The cooperative societies are contributing excellently to the development of rural and agricultural sectors. The meaning of cooperation is everyone and for all. The cooperative sector is subjective and a justified common people’s sector. Extending constant help is the basic principle and aim of this sector. Providing direct advantage to the poor is the duty of the cooperative sector.”
District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar, MLA G.T. Devegowda, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, MDCC Bank Chairman G.D. Harish, and others were present.
