Mysuru, November 26, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “Our constitution is the strong and secure foundation for our country. Like the Bhagawadgeetha, all of us should read the constitution and adopt in our lives,” observed University of Mysore Incharge Vice-Chancellor, Prof. H. Rajashekar.
He participated in the special lecture program organized by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Center, University of Mysore, held at the Manasa Gangori today, on the occasion of the 73rd Constitution Day. “No one should read or understand the constitution just for the sake it. Our Constitution is very meaningful. Ever citizen of India should understand its objectives and intentions,” he said.
“Dr. B.R. Ambedkar gave us a comprehensive constitution. It is the responsibility of all of us to protect and adopt it. Discussions are being held about our constitution from the last 73 years continuously. Read the Constitution also took the form of a movement. Constitution is the pillar of democracy. A country without constitution will face anarchy. All of us should know more about it, it is like a guide for all of us. Social justice will become possible only through it. Now, the new NEP has been implemented. Accordingly a student can opt any subject he or she wishes. I wish the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Center like it and let there be more research works,” he added.
