CM BSY condoles demise of freedom fighter H.S. Doreswamy

Bengaluru, May 26, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has expressed his grief over the death of freedom fighter, centenarian H.S. Doreswamy.
H.S. Doreswamy expired today at the Jayadeva Hospital in Bengaluru. He had recently recovered from COVID-19 and had returned home. However, he died of a heart attack.
The Chief Minister in his tweet mentioned that he was a senior freedom fighter, Gandhian, journalist, social worker, and a person who fought for the welfare of the state and the people. “It is very sad to know he is no more. I pray the almighty to give strength to all his family members and well-wishers to bear the pain.”
H.S. Doreswamy was born on April 10, 1918, at Harohalli. He participated in several freedom struggles including the Quit India movement. He also had raised his voice against the land encroachment case.
